Arts Theatre - 4 years gala

ree

Last week, the fantastic show 'Choir of Man' celebrated their 4 years on the West End. What a huge impact they have had on many hearts! It's a show that celebrates community, spreads awareness for men's mental health, and what pubs mean to British people. It's beautifully done, and there are some incredibly strong scenes in the show. But, this isn't a review... because I did one a few months ago. Wanna see it? Click Here.

For this celebration, I was lucky enough to be chosen to be involved with my favourite number 'Pina Colada'. So, I have a new perspective on the show, and this was a bucket list moment that will live in my memory for years and years. If you get the opportunity to be one of the audience participants, 100% do it, it's so fun, and the performers make you feel so comfortable and let you know what to do! I could not be more grateful to the fantastic Barman played by Oliver Jacobson, whom we previously interviewed. Click here to read the interview. One standout performance by Jacobson, as usual, with his huge voice and great stage personality. What was great for this performance was that the incredible Ben Goffe played the 'Handy Man', and back when I first ever watched the show, he was playing this role. I was blown away by his performance the first time I saw him play the role, especially the tap number, and to be lucky enough to see him play this role again was an honour! He is such a fantastic performer.

If you don't already know, this show could be coming to a stage near you very soon. Choir of Man are moving out of the Arts Theatre to go on tour! Click here to book tickets for a theatre near you, it's one you should not miss. They will also be touring in the USA in 2026, which is insane! Of course, they will be missed on the West End and there will be a pint-shaped hole in our hearts. What a wild ride they've had... IT'S NOT OVER YET THOUGH, if you want to see them in their Arts theatre home, then they are there till January 4th. It's a gorgeous, fun and uplifting show. It was incredible to be able to celebrate their 4 years with them and to be able to join them on stage! Thank you so much for the experience.
