Calling all musical theatre lovers everywhere... This is a DRILL!

Get yourself to the next 'Musical Monday' at Mrs Riot in Covent Garden. It's the last Monday of every month and it is BIG FUN. Get all your besties and sort out a trip, you don't want to miss this. This party is ROARING ON.

'Mean Girls' star Grace Mouat who plays the iconic role of 'Karen' is the glamourous host. There are also special musical guests and iconic performances. Games, cocktails and all your favourite musical hits. Mrs Riot in Covent Garden is the perfect venue for a fabulous musical gals night, pink everywhere which is perfect for photos, a HUGE cocktail menu and if you fancy getting up for a sing then after Mouat's set there is an open mic. Don't worry Grace puts on a new set every month and there are new guests each time! It's just as good as having Halloween every day.

Oh... so you want to know about my experience? Let's talk about the night of Monday April 28th.

There is a lot of interaction with the audience, it's an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The set opened with an absolute tune! Grace Mouat brought on stage Brian Ó'Muiri and they sang 'Something New' from High School Musical. This was a crowd pleaser of an opening and got the whole audience singing along. Mouat wears this dazzling red sequin co-ord that fits perfectly with Mrs Riot's aesthetic, but also highlights her bubbly personality.

Musical jokes were flowing like the cocktails. There was a competition to come up with the best musical opt down and the winner won a prize, what's your musical opt down? Hollie Aires and Brian Ó'Muiri joined Mouat and they all told stories of behind the scenes at shows and highlights of their fruitful careers. The performances were utterly divine, Aires and Ó'Muiri sang a stunning 'Starlight Express' duet that completely wow'd the crowd. At the end Ó'Muiri taught everyone a little bit of choreography to 'I'm a believer' from Shrel and got the whole bar on their feet. Mouat also got some of the audience up to sing an iconic musical theatre duet, they sang 'Domino' from &Juliet, she creates a relaxed and fun atmosphere with no judgement. It's so brilliant to be in such a safe musical theatre space.
